Forster, Edward Morgan
E.M. Forster, właśc., Edward Morgan Forster ur. 1 stycznia 1879 w Londynie, zm. 7 czerwca 1970 w Coventry – angielski prozaik, eseista i krytyk literacki. Forster to jedyny syn zmarłego w 1880 architekta, wychowany został przez matkę, Anne Clarę Wichelo Forster oraz ciotkę, z którymi spędził także większość swego dorosłego życia. Uczęszczał do Tonbridge School. Od 1897 do 1901 studiował w King’s College w Cambridge, gdzie był członkiem elitarnego stowarzyszenia Apostles.
