Ellis, Deborah
Deborah Ellis CM OOnt ur. 7 sierpnia 1960 r. Jest kanadyjską pisarką i aktywistką. Urodzona w Cochrane, Ontario, Kanada, Ellis i jej rodzina przeprowadzili się kilkakrotnie w dzieciństwie z powodu pracy rodziców. Ellis postanowiła zacząć pisać, gdy miała 11 lub 12 lat. Wiele prac pisarskich zostało zainspirowanych podróżami i rozmowami z ludźmi z całego świata oraz ich historiami. Pełniła wiele zadań na rzecz ruchu pokojowego i ruchu antywojennego. W 1997 r.
