Once again I’m writing about family, love and loss although the issues are raised in different ways. I wanted to explore what it is that makes us support each other, whether we do it from love or gratitude - and what happens when we start to think differently about the people closest to us.

O`Flanagan, Sheila
Irlandzka pisarka i dziennikarka, ur. w 1958 roku w Dublinie. Pierwszą powieść napisała, pracując w banku, jednak po podpisaniu umowy z wydawcą porzuciła tę pracę i skupiła się na pisaniu jak mówi, pisarstwo ma nad innymi zawodami tę przewagę, że nie trzeba pracować od 9 do 17. Obecnie pracuje dla irlandzkiego "Timesa" i wyczynowo gra w badmintona.
