Szkocka pisarka, ur. 4 czerwca 1955, autorka powieści kryminalnych. Po zakończeniu nauki pracowała jako dziennikarka, odnotowała także pewne sukcesy jako dramaturg. Zadebiutowała w 1987 roku powieścią „Report for Murder: The First Lindsay Gordon Mystery”, która stała się dużym sukcesem czytelniczym.
